All of a sudden, Ryleigh has figured out she can yell. Yesterday, she went on and on almost at the top of her lungs! We got a very small taste of it on video...

We Have Found Our Feet

This past weekend Ryleigh found her feet and they made it to her mouth! When she has socks on, she grabs her socks and moves her legs. She gets them going sometimes and it's quite funny!

Our Day Off

Memaw bought Ryleigh this cute pink polka dot hat. She has the one-piece bathing suit with ruffles to match...more pics of that coming later when swim suit season starts! :-)

5 Months Old!

It's hard to believe but Ryleigh was 5 months old yesterday!

We Love Our Bunny

Ryleigh loves swatting and now grabbing and pulling down her bunny above her papasan chair. She one-hands it and grabs it down. She cheats a lot though and before I can even put the bunny back, she has it in her hand. She is getting really good at using her hands.

We Did It!

Ryleigh finally rolled over from back to front today! She finally figured out how to get momentum to roll over her arm and once she did that is all she has been doing! Makes diaper and outfit changing a little more difficult!

Ryleigh's New Dress

Aunt Pat smocked Ryleigh this pretty blue snowman dress! Ryleigh kept pulling it up and showing some leg....hopefully that is not as to what's to come of her! :-)

Just Can't Let Go!

Jarred took these pictures of Ryleigh. He got her out of the car and into the house without waking her up and she just couldn't let go of her toy!

New Toy

Sometimes the simplest things make the best toys. Ryleigh LOVES the chip bag! She finds it facinating...must be the colors or the noise.

Ryleigh and Her Hands

Ryleigh is really learning to use her hands. She grabs at her bunny, which hangs over her papasan chair. She has gotten to where she pulls the bunny down, which I have not gotten on video yet!

Ryleigh and the Cat

They aren't too sure of each other yet. Ryleigh watches her intently and Ellie really just can't figure out what this thing is! I think Ellie is more annoyed than anything...wondering why this thing doesn't be quiet! I held Ryleigh close to Ellie today and Ryleigh reached out and grabbed Ellie's fur...came back with a handfull of fur! Ellie didn't appreciate that too much! haha

Tummy Time

Ryleigh is getting pretty good at tummy time...she doesn't mind it as much now. She has rolled over from front to back several times and can almost make it from back to front (her arm always gets in the way!) :-)

Hangin' Out & Playing

Bumbo

Ryleigh is getting used to her Bumbo Memaw gave her. She doesn't like to sit in it for very long, but at least it gives us a break!

Bama Game

Jarred and Ryleigh love watching Alabama Football games together! (I think Ryleigh is more facinated with the tv, but we like to think she likes watching Bama games!) Especially being undefeated in regular season, we enjoyed Bama football this year!

Ryleigh meet Mom Mom

Mom Mom (Jarred's paternal grandmother) came to visit at the end of October from Mobile, Alabama. After 8 children and many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she has a way with children...Ryleigh was dead asleep within minutes!

One Month Birthday Present

We should have had this from day one....a SWING! It works miracles and I highly recommend it! :-)

Our Broken Out Face

Ryleigh's face started to break out and we assumed it was acne. We had called the doctor a couple of times and they told us to wash her face with dove non-scented soap. We tried that for a few days, but her face kept getting worse and worse. We had to take her in and she had some fancy-named face rash. The doctor told us to put Selson Blue on her face each night to clear it up...which it worked!
So, Ryleigh got her nightly blue facial...
