All of the kids at school dressed up and had a fun day with lots of activities at the carnival.
They started the day with a hay ride to the pumpkin patch. Each kid got to pick out a mini pumpkin at the pumpkin patch and then decorate it. They then moved to story time in the tent with popcorn and capri suns. After that they stopped by to grab some candy before making sand bottles. They decorated cookies at the next station...trying to get 3-year-olds to not eat the candy to decorate the cookie was a challenge! :) They made pumpkin necklaces then dove for donuts. This was a big hit as they were not to use their hands to try to eat a donut. Yet our child tackled this station like a pro...she loves donuts! The last few stations were making rice bottles, placemats and then picture frames. Last they each took a picture to go in their picture frame. It was a fun day and I'm glad Jarred and I were able to join her for her carnival!
That afternoon we headed over to Jarred's parents so Ryleigh could trick or treat at their house and at a few houses around them. Kadyn (AKA Mad Hatter for her dress up day at work) posed for a picture with Ryleigh. We then headed over to my parents so Ryleigh could trick or treat around their neighborhood. Their neighborhood is always flooded with kids at Halloween, but Ryleigh fit right in enjoying collecting her candy!
