Corn Maze

Ryleigh's class took their first fieldtrip to the Corn Maze two weeks before Halloween. We all carpooled out to the Corn Maze in Dixie. The kids played eye-spy on the way. When we arrived they took a "train ride" around the parking lot. Ryleigh was apprehensive about getting in the train. She rode with Eli but still did not like the train ride. Next they saw some ducks, pigs, and bunny. Mrs. Carlisle even took the bunny out of its cage for the kids to pet! They then went to the Corn Bin...a big pit of dusty corn...yuck. The kids loved it but were covered head to toe in dust! haha The kids had worked up an appetite and had snacks and juice before heading out to the pumpkin patch. We took a "hay ride" out to the pumpkin patch where each kid got to pick their own mini pumpkin to take home. Last we went through the corn maze, quick version. They all had a good time and enjoyed their first fieldtrip!
