Parker 5 Months

Parker was 5 months old on April 25th! He didn't have a doctor's appointment for 5 months, but he'll have to go back at 6 months and for shots. :(
Here are some of his milestones at five months:
Size 2 diapers
Size 3-6 month clothes
Sleeping 11 hours a night
Eats 4 times a day, every 4 hours
Smiles a lot
Coos and squeals
Rolls front to back as well as back to front
Giggles
Serious look on his face at times makes us laugh
Has had rice cereal in his bottle
Will start rice cereal with a spoon
Trying to sit up but can't keep his balance

Last Soccer Game

We finished up the spring soccer season a few weeks ago. It was a rather chilly morning, so it took Ryleigh a while to want to play. She finally decided to play, almost scored a goal, but ended up picking flowers for Mr. Alan who showed up to watch her play! Ryleigh loves Mr. Alan!

Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest height

A few weeks ago it was perfect kite flying weather! We had bought Ryleigh a kite, and she and Jarred love to get outside and fly it. (I think Jarred more than Ryleigh!) :)

Happy Easter!

We celebrated Easter by all going to Sunday school since Parker had to eat at 11:00. We then ate lunch at Cantina Laredo...easy for us not to have to cook! :) Ryleigh hunted Easter eggs after lunch at MiMi and PapPaw's. She loved finding all the eggs multiple times and even hid them from us and had us find them!

Haircut

Ryleigh had her first "official" haircut, ever! Her hair had gotten long and uneven and just needed some shaping up! Eli's, Ryleigh's "boyfriend" at school, mom cut Ryleigh's hair...she was so excited his mom was cutting her hair! She hardly moved a muscle and didn't say a word the entire time. It looks SO much better. We may chop more off next time. :)

Parker 4 Months!

Crazy that Parker is already 4 months old (on March 25th)! His doctor's appointment went great...the whole family went! :) Ryleigh loved helping Dr. Ritch check Parker out. She held his stethoscope and his light to check in Parker's ears and mouth. She was worried she would have to have a check-up or shots and must have asked every 2 minutes if that was what was going to happen. Once Parker was done with his check-up she was ready to get out of there! haha
Parker's check-up went great, besides him having to get 3 shots. :(

Norton 2012

We had Norton pictures taken again this year. I wanted at least one good family picture and I think that is all we got! I ended up having to take more of Parker and Ryleigh as their pictures together didn't turn out as good as I had hoped.






Classic...so Jarred was on his phone while we were taking pictures. I told our photographer to quickly take the pic! :)
