Christmas Morning

Christmas morning, Ryleigh woke up a little after 7 and was ready to see what Santa had brought. Gifts from Santa...art table/easel and supplies, books, dvd's, and MOST imporantly...pink cupcake! Every time we would ask Ryleigh what she wanted Santa to bring her, she would say "pink cupcake". I think if he would have just brought her that, she would have been fine! :) Christmas morning I just made sure that she still wanted her pink cupcake...

After we had Christmas at our house, we headed over to Jarred's parents house. They had cooked their traditional breakfast that we all ate before opening presents.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at Jarred's parents house with their traditional Christmas Eve Dinner...boiled shrimp, hashbrown potato casserole, Olive Garden salad, Logan's rolls and Popeye's biscuits! YUMMY! We ate dinner and then exchanged stockings. Every year we draw names for stockings (although we always end up knowing who has who!) and exchange them Christmas Eve night. Ryleigh loves passing out the stockings and helping out. This year she enjoyed opening her stocking with her little gifts from everyone.

Decorating for Christmas

This year Ryleigh was able to "help" us decorate for Christmas. She really enjoyed getting the ornaments out and putting them on the tree. We ordered pizza, put on our favorite Christmas movie Elf and decorated our tree and house!

Christmas in Roseland

Our annual trip to Christmas in Roseland with Jarred's parents and sister was a little more lively this year as Ryleigh was more into the Christmas lights. She loves seeing Christmas trees and lights!

We passed the train ride coming in and the whole time we walked through, Ryleigh kept saying "ride train". After standing in line for over 30 minutes, Ryleigh got her train ride...3 times around the track. Needless to say, she wanted to ride again...maybe next year.
