Soccer

Ryleigh has been playing spring soccer since the end of February. We signed up so she could play with her best friend Isabel and just so they could be active and burn some energy! :) They've done better each week that they've played. Jarred ended up being the "coach" because our team didn't have one. It's been challenging to coach 6 three-year olds, but he has done a good job of helping them get better and to have fun!

When Parker was 10 days old, we had Brandi Smyth come out and take his newborn photos. She did a fabulous job!! There were too many good ones to pick from so we just bought the cd to have them forever! :) Here are a few of the many good ones.





This amazes me how they can get newborns to do this!

Field Trip

A couple of weeks ago, Ryleigh's class took a field trip to Krispy Kreme and the Post Office. I was able to get Jarred's parents to watch Parker while I went with Ryleigh. She and her class went to Krispy Kreme first to watch the "hot" donuts being made. Of course we all had to have our free donut. Ryleigh asked where her 2nd one was...that's my girl! :) After Krispy Kreme we headed over to the post office. The Farm Friends had made Valentine's and sealed them with a kiss. At the post office they put a stamp on it and dropped them in the mail. They got a behind the scenes tour as well as a look inside the mail truck. We had a fun day!

Parker - Month 3

Parker turned 3 months old on February 25th! I started back to work on Feb 13th, so these last few weeks have been even more crazy! Our little boy is growing too fast!
Here are some of his milestones at three months:
Weight - 13 lbs 5 oz (50th percentile)
Height - 24.5 inches (75th percentile)
Head - 16.75 inches (75-90th percentile)
Sleeping 10-11 hours a night!!

Parker - Month Two

Parker turned two months old on January 25th...these two months have flown by! His two month appointment and shots went well.
Here are some of his milestones at two months:
Weight - 12 lbs 7 oz (75th percentile)
Height - 23 inches (50th percentile)
Head - 16 1/4 inches (75th percentile)
Sleeping about 5-7 hours a night
Smiles a lot

He didn't like his shots too much and his little legs were sore, but he handled it like a trooper.

Parker - Month One

Christmas 2011

Christmas this year was a little crazy with a one month old and 3 year old! We spent Christmas morning celebrating our first Christmas as a family of 4. Ryleigh loved all of her presents, especially her Minnie scooter from Santa! Then we headed over to Jarred's parents to celebrate with his family, the traditional breakfast and then opening presents one by one. After a nap and break at home, we headed over to my parents for the afternoon and dinner and opening more presents. Ryleigh was exhausted after a crazy, busy day. Needless to say she slept late the next morning! Nevertheless we still enjoyed our favorite time of year!
