First BAMA Game

Ryleigh "watched" her first Bama game on September 20, 2008 vs Arkansas. Rance and Kadyn (Jarred's Dad and sister) actually went to the game in Fayetteville! Here are a couple of pictures of Ryleigh's first game.

Ryleigh's Broadmoor Sign

Ryleigh had her sign delivered and put in the yard by Broadmoor a couple of days after we had been home. The lamb had her name and birthday on the collar, which we got to keep for her.

First Grin

Whether it was gas or not...Ryleigh's first grin was caught on camera on September 16th!

MeMaw meet Ryleigh

MeMaw (Jarred's maternal grandmother) came to visit on Tuesday, September 16th. She thought Ryleigh was the most gorgeous little girl...not like most babies who are not cute at birth! :-)

Ryleigh's First Dr. Visit

Ryleigh made her first trip out - to the Dr. on Tuesday, September 16th. Her Dr. had to check her jaundice to make sure her levels were okay, which they were. Ryleigh had not lost much of her birth weight...she only dropped down to 7 pounds 6 ounces. All was good.

First Day Home from the Hospital

Well, our first day home from the hospital with Ryleigh was interesting. Due to Hurricane Ike blowing through the weekend Ryleigh was born, we did not have power at our house. With our hot Louisiana weather, we decided to hang out at the hospital until our power came back on. We eventually made it home about 4:00pm on Sunday, September 14th. As most first nights home are, our first night was pretty rough. Needless to say, we finally figured out swaddling and all was well! It was so surreal that our little girl was finally here and home with us! We wondered if we would ever get the hang of it!

Ryleigh's Birth

Ryleigh Emerson Cram

Know it's a few months past, but Ryleigh Emerson Cram was born September 12, 2008 at 11:51am and was 8 pounds and 20 inches long! She was originally due on Jarred's birthday (September 22nd), but decided to join us 10 days early. I started having contractions at 12:45am, which kept me up until I woke Jarred up at about 2:00am. We decided to go on to the hospital as the contractions kept getting closer and closer together. Jarred was sooo mad there was not a cop nearby so he could be stopped for speeding or running redlights...he wanted to drive around the hospital a time or two just to make it worthwhile, but I quickly vetoed that! We ended up getting to Schumpert Highland about 3:45am. Labor went well and we are thankful to God of the miracle of our little girl! She was/is the most beautiful baby we have ever seen...not being biased towards our child or anything! haha!
